My goal for every session? To create timeless, artistic portraits and wonderful, memorable experiences for my clients. After all, the best images are captured when the moments are happy - and geniune!

My photographic style is very natural and organic, capturing the true essence of your children and family. I work on location in Palm Beach or Broward counties, or in my natural light studio in Deerfield Beach. 

Newborn sessions are captured in my natural light studio in Deerfield Beach.  Outdoor newborn session are also available as a stand-alone instead of a studio session, or as an add-on to a studio session. 

Location sessions are generally held early morning or late afternoon to allow for the ideal lighting. Beaches, parks, or even nicely landscaped yards, make for stunning backgrounds. And, for clients who are open to being more creative, especially with child portaits, we can explore more unique location options. I also love to use fun props to add artistic interest, like hats, flowers, scarves and chairs.

The consultation

Every client is different; every shoot is unique. That's why the consultation is so important. I want to create pictures that reflect your style and personality, as much as my own artistic style. When we chat, I want to know what type of images you would like to create. You know your family best, so the more you share, the better suggestions I can make. The consultation is also when we will discuss details like wardrobe, timing and location options.

The session

For me, the session experience itself is as important as the results. When I'm taking pictures of a child, mother-to-be, or family, the best way to create beautiful, heartfelt portraits is to make the experience fun. I understand that everyone responds differently to being in front of the camera, especially children. As most parents know well, chasing kids around with a camera rarely works, so I invest the time up front to get to know what works for them. I'll spend time relating to them in a way that helps them feel comfortable and excited to participate in the process. Patience earns trust. And, soulful honest images result from trust and honest interaction. An image that captures the heart and soul is the one you'll treasure most.

During the shoot, we will do a combination of posed and more candid images. Sometimes I may ask silly questions, ask you to do silly things, or ask parents to provide some alone time for me and the kids to help them feel relaxed. No stressing here.

After the session

A technically perfect picture is just the beginning. After the shoot, I will carefully edit and retouch your images. Post-session retouching and enhancement transforms great images into magical, artistic works of art.

Within 14 days of our session, I will contact you to preview your private password-protected gallery of images online (usually between 20-30 retouched images). Feel free to share the gallery with family and friends. The gallery will remain active for 10 days, during which time all print orders should be placed. 

I love working together with my clients to create beautiful, emotional, timeless photographs. 

Newborn sessions are held in my natural light studio in Deerfield Beach. Once a newborn session is booked, I will provide extensive details about how to best prepare for your session.  My goal is to capture the natural beauty of your new love, and all those yummy details that change far too fast.  Along with individual newborn images, I love to capture mommy and baby, daddy and baby, sibling and family shots as well. 

Maternity sessions are captured in my natural light studio, on location at a local park or beach, or in my pool (underwater sessions).  Maternity sessions last up to 2 hours. 

Family and child portrait sessions are held on location in Palm Beach or Broward County. Sessions typically last 1-2 hours.

Session fees start at $250.
